The Texans will cause a major upset, by going to the playoffs this year. This team has heart if nothing else. Once they learn how to win again. After weeding out the players that were not giving it their all from last year, and rebuilding a team riddled with injured players, the Texans are now ready to bring things together. Finding out what their weak points are in the beginning of the season will prove to work toward their favor and help them make a comeback just like they did last year. They will have fourteen consecutive games to get it right. (Yes, I am an optimist)
In their defeat against the Titans, it was obvious quarterback Matt Schaub was trying to get his head in the game. One thing that also showed through was coach Gary Kubiak’s obvious frustration with his first string quarterback. If Kubiak had been a pimp, Schaub would have probably gotten back-handed. Despite his frustrations though, he kept is star quarterback in the game and his confidence and decision making abilities seemed to improve even after he threw the interception that ultimately cost them the game. What the Texans need to do now is monopolize on their weak points. Use their weaknesses and turn them into strengths and ultimately cause the other team to use their own strengths against them. Kind of like a Judo Master uses the strength of his opponent against him.
Then again what do I know, I am just a chick. I’ll show up anywhere to watch men in spandex. Does anybody know what’s playing at the Houston Ballet this week?
